DPW Department
- The
new Baldor Generator has been outfitted and is now in operation. It is a great asset during times of
power outages.
- A new
2006 pickup truck has been ordered and is scheduled for delivery by the
end of March. The 2006 will replace
a 1999 model with approximately 70,000 miles on it. A 4 x 4 was ordered to increase the
efficiency of the inspector at construction sites.
- The
Water/Sewer Township Specification Book is in the final stages of updating
with the latest revisions. When
complete it will be reprinted and placed on line for contractors review
and compliance.
- The
Water Cross Connection Program is
progressing well. This is a
continual year around program.
- Several
projects to be worked on this spring and summer are:

exercise program

hydrant flushing
- inter-connect
and dead-end hydrant flushing
- water
tank internal inspections

asphalt expansion
- During
the month of February we had:
