2006 OCTOBER REPORT

  1. The Sewer Televising for 2006 is complete with several problems which were identified and all have been addressed.

 

  1. The Air Release Program is being readdressed and changed to become more test friendly.

 

  1. After many weeks of Maplewood Park being closed last summer, some progress is being made into pinpointing the problem of e-coli bacteria in the lake.  We will continue to correct this problem for next year and the years to come.

 

  1. The on/off ramp is going to impact the water and sewer system to come extent.  Various meetings have been attended to seek to correct these situations.  Prein and Newhoff engineering firm is being retained by Ottawa County to review the issue with the sewer and Williams and Works was retained by MDOT to address the issue with the water system.

 

    • 68 new homes under construction
    • 11 new meters installed
    • 13 new sewer connections
    • 57 final readings of water meters for home sales
    • 15 water service repairs
