2006 DECEMBER REPORT
DPW DEPARTMENT
- The
contract for Manhole Rehabilitation has been awarded to B & B
Environment at a total cost of $9700.00.
Work is to be completed by June
30, 2007.
- All
food service businesses were inspected in the month of December. A total of 45 to 50 businesses were
evaluated and most were in compliance.
Several letters were sent out to those who needed some work to be
accomplished.
- Bids
are being received for a new 2007 pickup truck. January
4, 2007 is the scheduled date for the bid opening.
- Houses with dry sewer and not hooked up
are now down to 29 units. December
of 2009 is the deadline for hook up for the remaining houses.
- The
Cross Connection Program is progressing
well. Seven inspections were
completed in December.

water and sewer hookups
- 10 new
meters installed

final readings of water meters
- 65 new
homes under construction
