2007 SEPTEMBER REPORT

DPW DEPARTMENT

 

 

  1. 12th Avenue sewer is complete with stripping and cleanup.

 

  1. Ridgewood, Chipwood and Chickadee sewermains and laterals are complete.  Final grading is under way with site restoration to follow shortly.

 

  1. Broadview and Ronson Avenue sewermains and laterals are complete.  Final grading is taking place with site restoration to follow shortly.

 

  1. Baldwin Street east of Cottonwood to Main Street is complete and open.  Watermains are now complete and service change over are to take place yet. 

       3 bridge abutments are complete with bridge decking on the treatment plant      entrance.  Much of the sub base for the westbound lanes and treatment plant      roadway is complete.

 

  1. Baldwin Street, 20th to 28th, has new curbs poured on both north and south sides.  Sub grade needs to be leveled yet.

 

    • 7  new service connections
    • 10 new water meter installations
    • 50 final readings of water meters for home sales
    • 14 water service repairs
    • 56 new homes under construction
