Board Open Discussion
In reference to the letter from Doug
VanSingel requesting a
Zoning Ordinance amendment, Daniel Carlton said that as in the past issues
arise regarding uses in the industrially zoned property on the busy
streets. He said that the Township
should allow more options for uses and allow additional uses in the Industrial
district along Port Sheldon, 18th Ave. and 44th St.
because the current ordinances were too restrictive.
#071008-12 – Add an Item to the Agenda
Moved by Daniel Carlton, seconded by Marvin
VanSomeren, to amend the agenda to add an item related to starting the process
to revise the Zoning Ordinance to allow additional uses in the Industrial
district.

be flexible with the uses.
