DPW DEPARTMENT

 

 

 

  1. The East Baldwin Street project is about complete.  A few loose ends need to be finished, as well as a punch list.

 

  1. The Cross Connection Program has been activated again for the winter months.  It was never stopped but slowed down due to summer activities.

 

  1. The Valve Operation Program has again been activated after the summer off.

 

  1. 45,000+ feet of sanitary sewer has been televised for 2007.  A few problems have been encounter and are in the process of being corrected.

 

 

 

    • 21 new service connections
    • 12 new water meter installations
    • 60 final readings of water meters for home sales
    • 7 water service repairs
    • 54 new homes under construction
