Department of Public Works
The Georgetown Charter Township Department of Public Works (DPW) operates under the direction of the Department of Public Works Supervisor, Dennis Bishop.
The Township DPW serves over 14,000 households and over 40,000 customers with water and sewer. The Township purchases water from the City of Wyoming and sewage treatment services from the City of Grandville. The Township is one of ten wholesale customers on the Wyoming water system. We are a distribution system only. All water is produced from Lake Michigan by the City of Wyoming.
The Township DPW Department currently has between 175 and 200 million dollars worth of infrastructure.
