Georgetown Charter Township Public Library
Join our winter reading program for kids ages 3-12!
This program is modeled on the Iditarod sled dog race through Alaska. Kids will read their way through each checkpoint on the race route. At certain major checkpoints, kids receive a small prize!
Tracking for this program will be on paper logs, available at the library or on our website to print at home! Everyone who finishes the race by March 17th gets a special finisher prize and a "ticket" to our special finishers only party, with an Iditarod themed movie and treats!
To sign up, stop by the circulation desk to collect and decorate your dog. It will be placed at the starting line when you register and you can move it along the route each time you reach a new stop!
Are you a movie buff? Or maybe just good at guessing? Pick up an Oscars Ballot and vote for your favorite movies & actors/actresses. The person with the most correct answers (or in the event of a tie, the person selected at random) wins a movie prize package. Winner will be announced on Monday, March 13.

Georgetown Charter Township Public Library Children's Programming Room
Kids ages 6 - 13 years old are invited to bring a one gallon re-closable storage bag of their own building bricks to the Library. Each child will have 45 minutes to create something around the theme that will be announced that afternoon, or they can free-build!
We do not have LEGOs for everyone, children must bring their own.
New Policy: If you register for a children's program and don't attend (without canceling your registration by the start of the program) twice in a row, you will not be able to register for children's programs for one month. You may stop by at the start of a program to see if there's room and you may still attend drop-in programs.
