    The 32-Degree Adult Winter Reading Club challenges you to cozy up with a good book and log 32 days of reading between January 1 and February 28. Read 15 minutes or more for 32 days and receive a small prize. Read 10 books to enter the grand prize drawing for a gift card. Entries must be received and prizes must be claimed by Saturday, March 4 at 5 pm. Pick up a reading log beginning December 19.

  2. GTPL Community Quilt Contest

    CONTEST RULES The contest is open to amateur quilters of any age. Each participant may submit 1 quilt, 30 quilts will be accepted. Quilt submissions will be accepted Feb 1-20 and displayed throughout the month of March. By entering the contest, you acknowledge that the library may hang your quilt on display. Pick up an entry form at the library when you drop off your quilt. VOTING Voting will be done by library patrons throughout the month of March and winners will be announced April 4. PRIZE The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to Field's Fabrics.

  3. IditaREAD Kid's Winter Reading Program

    Join our winter reading program for kids ages 3-12! This program is modeled on the Iditarod sled dog race through Alaska. Kids will read their way through each checkpoint on the race route. At certain major checkpoints, kids receive a small prize! Tracking for this program will be on paper logs, available at the library or on our website to print at home! Everyone who finishes the race by March 17th gets a special finisher prize and a "ticket" to our special finishers only party, with an Iditarod themed movie and treats! To sign up, stop by the circulation desk to collect and decorate your dog. It will be placed at the starting line when you register and you can move it along the route each time you reach a new stop!
